How does a Service Plan work, and is it worth it?
A Service Plan allows you to spread the cost of servicing, MOTs and planned maintenance into affordable monthly payments. It helps you budget, protects you from rising costs, and can save you money compared to paying for everything separately.
Does it cost more to have a Service Plan?
No. In many cases you’ll pay no more than if you paid as you go, and you’ll also benefit from exclusive discounts, added value and the convenience of fixed monthly payments.
Will servicing my vehicle with you affect my manufacturer’s warranty?
No. We use Original Equipment (OE) quality parts and follow the manufacturer’s service schedule, meaning your warranty remains protected.
What happens if I change my car?
No problem. We can usually transfer your Service Plan to your new vehicle. If the servicing requirements differ, your monthly payment may be adjusted. Alternatively, you can cancel your plan and receive a refund of any unused funds.
What if I want to cancel my Service Plan?
You can cancel at any time. Any money remaining in your account that hasn’t been used towards servicing or repairs will be refunded.
Can I use my Service Plan for repairs as well as servicing?
Yes. Your plan can be tailored to include anticipated maintenance items such as timing belts, wet belts, transmission servicing, tyres, brake fluid changes and more.
How long does a Service Plan last?
We offer flexible plans from 6 to 36 months, allowing you to choose a payment term that suits your budget.
Can I choose my payment date?
Yes. You can select any payment date between the 1st and 28th of the month.
When can I start using the benefits of my Service Plan?
Immediately. As soon as your plan is set up, you’ll have access to the included benefits and discounts.
What happens when my Service Plan ends?
Your plan will automatically end once all payments have been made and the agreed services have been completed. It will not renew automatically, although you’re welcome to set up a new plan if you’d like to continue spreading the cost of vehicle maintenance.
Is there any interest to pay?
No. Service Split allows you to spread the cost with interest-free monthly payments.
Can I include my MOT in the plan?
Yes. Most customers choose to include their annual MOT alongside their servicing costs.
